Flamencolia Dance Company presents FLAMENCO VIVO!, a thrilling evening of live flamenco music and dance. Join one of Canada's most prolific flamenco dancers and choreographers, Lia Grainger, for a night of music and dance transported from the tablaos of Seville to the Gordon Best Theatre. This improvisational new show explores the wild, unrestrained side of one of the world’s most passionate and intense art forms: flamenco.

The searing vocals of George "El Caracolillo" (Montreal) are accompanied by the intricate guitar arpeggios of Dora Award-winning guitarist Nicolas Hernandez (Ventanas, Canada). Dancer Lia Grainger (2017 Certamen New York International Flamenco Competition finalist) brings the stage to life with fierce and sensual choreographies and stunning Seville-trained guest dancer Makeda Benitez will also join the ensemble for this performance only.
